This has got to be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard of.

I'm trying to come up with analogies, but I think I popped a circuit trying to illustrate how dumb this is!
Someone's going to say "It's for serendipitous searching." So, you start looking for something and you get distracted on purpose... I think that's the really dumb part. Who needs help getting off-track?
For some reason, the absolute illogical nature of this really offends me.
