It was in the bathroom at the shop, not at my house, so I'm not worried. We have sledge hammers and nail guns and forklifts and chainsaws at the shop, so if it ever came down to an arachnophobia-style showdown, I think we'd be all right.
I don't know what kind of spider it was. I may try to identify it, but I may not try too hard.
