Saturday was paint-the-living-room day. I scored some paint and mixed it with some white I had at home. They are doing really cool things with paint any more, where they keep on file the formula that you get so if you need more, you can just tell them your phone number and they can pull it up on the computer. I should have done that, but instead I mixed the paint at home to a color that nobody will ever be able to match. mwah ha ha! Anyway, I got the living room all painted up and took off for Breckenridge to celebrate Hilary's birthday.
And that's just what we did. ...I think... I remember calling everyone "toots" because I didn't remember any names. We played pool and went dancing to a mock-rock band. That's what I'm calling it... They played 80's rock and wore ridiculous wigs and stuff.
I spent a lot of time talking to someone about nothing, but I don't remember who or what. The altitude really makes a difference in one's tolerance. And in the next morning. I took Thomas to a dog park and tried to get my head under control while he made friends and chased other dogs.Sunday was Oktoberfest in Breck. We all got steins, which I highly recommend.
So I'm sunburned, dehydrated, got a little headache, the dog is worn out, but I have a stein and a few disjointed memories. Bring on the work week.
