Thanks for Thanksgiving!

Becky and I got back from SC on Saturday. We had the most splendid time! We made fast friends with Emily and ate Malisa's amazing Thanksgiving dinner. We toured the countryside and both of us were struck by the beauty and history of the place. They showed us the University area and how to get "unsweet" tea, and we ate ribs that will be my standard by which all future ribs will be judged.

We also visited the Columbia Zoo, which we enjoyed thoroughly. Yes, this is Becky squashing the head of a koala. That's cold.



We didn't stick around for the Clemson-SC game, but we caught the hubbub the night before, when we experienced the college/capitol city bar scene at Five Points. Mac's on Main was fantastic-- fun groovy band and good drinks.





My story is a little out of order, but that's what happens when things are so enjoyable.
