more me in skirt

Becky did indeed take some video on sunday. I just got it put together. The clips of the sheaf toss are squashed because I rotated them. It was really high, I swear!

Oh yeah, and I screwed up a title placement in the video but I really don't care.

Anyway--

looks good. decent technique. you're getting the stone a little far outside of your base, but other wise nice.

did you have any instruction on the other events?

looks more like the sheet toss, any drinking involved?

Mr. Stewart- The other guys in the competition were great. I had no idea what to do about several of the events, and almost every time, someone would pull me aside before and during the event and let me know the rough technique. Very helpful, great guys.

Mrs. Harp-Sligh- Thanks. It was just about the coolest thing I've done.

Mr. Duble-U- I wish I could have been drinking, but it was a serious competition. I bet with some of the other classes it would have been beer-drinking (and therefore probably more authentic to the ancient Scots who invented the games), but these guys I was competing against were freaking athletes! One is going on to coach college throws and I think two of the others are recent decathletes.

I was able to grab a Murphy's Irish Red during the last event and right after I completed the last event, but by the time I was through competing I was really tired, sunburned, and worn out, and we still had to get home. So not much drinking for me.
