The picture of the skateboard makes the camber appear a little more dramatic than it is, but yes, there is a large arc there. It comes back to flat when I stand on it, but when I'm pushing I lose a bit o' the weight on the board, so it springs up a little. If I had it to do again, I might lessen the curve, but only a little.
Riding the board is really smooth, though. I need to tighten the trucks so it isn't so wobbly, but the tinkering and fine-tuning is all part of the joy of DIY.
I'll try to get some more representative pictures tomorrow. I forgot my camera at work last night.
