Hey folks.
-----------------
Matt says I get the fever in the winter and take it out on the house. Maybe he's right. I went to work on a wall, getting it ready to have a set of cabinets and an eating bar installed against it.

Here's my destruction of the kitchen wall. Wainscotting (yellow) comes off.
Plaster comes off.
All the floor. Two layers of linoleum and one of underlayment.
Woo. Time capsule. This glue is probably older than my parents.
Pulling up the underlayment sent me into about four hours of allergic sneezing, wheezing, and not-pleasing geezing. But it's mostly done now, and ready to have a new floor put on. Maybe this week, during the evenings. Since I used up my sourdough starter, I need a new avocation anyway.
-----------------------------------
And that's where I find myself today.
We got pasted with snow last night. Welcome to Springtime in the Rockies. Snow is still faling today, messing with my work plans. Oh well.

i wish you lived with us. i need my floor redone, and my walls stripped (turns out the chemicals to do that are bad for people wanting to have a kid).
I love chemicals! I'm on it, doggone it! I'll have a whiskey-toluene cocktail, please.
