Happy Saturday

I woke up crazy early this morning. I had to get some yard work done.
After some fence-mending (actually fixing a fence), I had to repair my number two tool-- my drill. My Bosch 18-volt Hammer Drill/Drill-Driver. It is, to coin a phrase, the shit. The clutch was slipping, probably because I was using it a lot and with much gusto. Anyway I had to clean it, in case cleaning it fixed anything. It did! Yay!

In the style of Adam, I'll give you the play-by-play.

-Assembling the relevant equipment

-Removing a lot of screws with an alan wrench
-Outer casing removed
-Disassembly
-Re-Assembly and celebration I love my drill, and I also love doing anything with my grandfather's tools. I inherited them, and it really means a lot to me that I have them and use them. So it was good quality time spent with some excellent and personally significant tools.

Next was the doomed attempt at making a smoked chile hot sauce (pictured is the kitchen carnage).
Now it's over to Pierre's basement and football and beer for a while.

Thanks. Perhaps the novelty of having a really handy digital camera will eventually wear off, but for now I'm going to keep it around.

I'll send you her real address. I don't know what the deal is with that email.
