There are two reasons why I haven't posted in a while. One is that I've been tied up with a film crew for a show on the current trend toward prefab residential construction. That's what we do, so I'm pretty stoked with that. I've been working with the TV producers to make it happen, and for the few days before thanksgiving until yesterday it was happening. I'll post or send a mass email when I know the dates and all that.
The other reason is that I don't have that much to say to the world. The first post I posted said pretty much that-- "Don't expect me to post often or at much length." That's not a quote, but that's what I meant.
I am going to keep the blog open and occasionally post to it, maybe show pictures once in a while or something, but don't expect me to post ten minutes after the president gives a speech or somebody gets caught embezzling. Don't expect cynical, smarmy commentary on the political situation, the social scene, or the buzz in Hollywood. It ain't me, babe. Relevance isn't my strong suit. I think in the future, we'll all look back and feel a bit sheepish about the blogosphere.
You know where it says something about members of a blog? I wouldn't mind being a member of a blog, but to have my own--eek!-- too much responsibility.
Anyway. For those interested, here's the shed for the next few weeks:
December 9th-11th: Fres-hell-yes-- Narnia, Pub Golf, Family time.
December 25th-Jan 1st: Butzbach/Pohl-Gons/Wherever-else, Germany-- Beer, Frauleins, Tannenbaums (tannenbaumen? G, what's the word?), Pastry, et cetera.
Jan 11-14: Going to give the NAHB show in Orlando another try. Last time I was there, it rained the whole dang time. Silly.
February: I don't know. Work maybe?
March: lament not going to mardi gras, look forward to JazzFest
April 22ish or 29ish?: JazzFest. Boo yah! Et toi?
------------------
What do you know? I've posted a half-decent blog. Don't get yer hopes up.

I thought that tennenbaums were some singers? Whatever. You should just come out and say, "Hi, I'm Jay and I've become the Man." There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I've been the Man for the past 4 years. It pays well. As for those who judge you I have one thing to say: My taxes are supporting your hippy-ass, so say thank you, shut up, and find job that doesn't involve the selling of records or hemp. What used to be cool is now pathetic. Get with the times.
Jay, welcome to the brotherhood
