The chief of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival ("Jazzfest") announced that there will indeed be a Jazzfest 2006.
I will be there. It will be held over two weekends, April 28-30 and May 5-7 at the Fairgrounds in New Orleans. I don't know which weekend yet. Who's with me?

I don't know when or if there will be a Chicago trip :( but I think the best way to aid in the rebuilding of the Big Easy is to visit and spend money there. Same as New York a few years ago.
